Placed in the head of the vale of Wild, in the sector west of Serra Grossa, in the extreme south-west of the province of Valencia, in the limit with the provinces of Alicante (with the municipal Villena term) and of Albacete (with the municipal Almansa term).

The municipal Source term the Fig tree borders on the following localities: Enguera, Springs and Mogente of the province of Valencia, Villena of the province of Alicante and Almansa.

One gains access to this locality, from Valencia, across the A-7 (up to Játiva) and the A-35 is continued to connect with the N-344. From the Plateau one gains access across the Almansa port for the A-35 to connect also with the N-344.
Many trucks and other vehicles that do the route Alicante - Valencia for the interior make use of the divided highway Alicante - Madrid (A-31) up to the Caudete height; here they take the N-344 that the Fig tree passes for the Source city center, and finally they take the Divided highway Almansa-Játiva (A-35) and the A-7 they continue then for up to Valencia. To avoid these disadvantages and to provide with a few better infrastructures Spain, there is approved by the Government the Divided highway A-33 that goes from Font of the Figuera to White (Murcia).
Also it is provided with train station of the line of Valencia-Albacete-Madrid. (RENFE)
