I CENTER AGOST - Pottery Museum
The tradition of the pottery of Agost goes back, to the XVIII century. For lack of systematic studies of archaeology and of file, at this time we cannot say more. As witness of those times we have left the hermitage, been founded in 1821 and dedicated to Santa Fair and Santa Rufina, the employers of the occupation.
The first shops were small, practically housing-shops in the street Pottery, near the source for supply.
At the end of the XIX century, the first potteries were built with the family embedded housing. Together with the building where the Museum of Pottery is located, an example of them is conserved.
